New priorities of State program - infrastructure development, investments, UEFA rules

At today Government session was presented State Target Program (STP) on preparation and holding UEFA EURO 2012 finals in Ukraine. Vice Prime Minister Borys Kolesnikov considers that this editorial STP is legal, social, economic and organizational foundation for successfully holding EURO 2012 in Ukraine.
Priority measures which will implement are to improve transport and sports infrastructure of host-cities.
Not only the road infrastructure of cities will be improved but for public transport and railway waiting for innovation.
As Vice Prime Minister on preparation for EURO 2012 said that due to TSP, Ukraine will have two modern sports arena that meet the requirements of FIFA and UEFA. At the elite stadiums can hold competitions of any level. In addition, for domestic football competitions and training of Ukrainian teams will be built, renovated or converted more than 30 modern stadiums and training bases.
Local airports in Kyiv, Donetsk, Lviv and Kharkiv will be reconstructed or constructed according to modern European standards, which meet UEFA requirements. Among the tasks of the airport building are reconstruction of runways, airports and building new terminals.
The Government aims to create favorable conditions for domestic business and raise investment in various sectors. In particular, for EURO 2012 investors of hotel business will receive preferences that how is predicted will attract investments on 80 billion UAH and increase tax revenues almost on 28 billion UAH.

To activities in the framework of fulfillment of State program of preparation and holding in EURO 2012 finals in Ukraine provided 26 billion.
