Euro 2012 tickets

Euro 2012 ticket sales will begin in 2010. UEFA will take their usual generous cut of the tickets to dish out to VIPs and hospitality groups. Around 10% of tickets are officially planned for hospitality purposes but as in previous competitions tickets will no doubt be in short supply for average fans.
Ticket delivery instructions will be finalized once all of the Euro Cup tickets are printed. Tickets for certain matches will be shipped to your country, other matches will require you to pick up tickets at ticket offices in Poland and the Ukraine when the tournament starts.
With tickets in such short supply and demand and interest in the tournament so high, fan zones are planned in the host cities.
By re-refined data, it became known that the distribution of tickets for matches of European Football Championship 2012 will begin a year before the Championship – in the spring of 2011. Microsoft Corporation and Ukraine

American Microsoft Corporation is willing to cooperate with Ukrainian government within the framework of organizing and staging Euro-2012, as stated Steve Ballmer, Microsoft chief executive officer at the meeting with Borys Kolesnikov, vice Prime Minister of Ukraine. According to vice Prime Minister, two stadiums in Kyiv and Lviv are now under construction. Management team thatwill cooperate straightforward with Microsoft is being picked up now.Mr. Kolesnikov points out that Ukraine has already had positive experience of cooperating with Microsoft Corporation in Donbass-Arena in Donetsk. Cabinet of Ministers is highly interested in cooperating with Microsoft in three more new airports that are being ready to put in commission. ”If your corporation is willing to participate in IT installment for the airport, you’re welcome”, says Mr. Kolesnikov. In his turn, Steve Ballmer assured they would do everything possible to help with Euro-2012 organization. Such largescale international events are highly important to the Corporation. Having vast experience at the Olympics and other major eventsMicrosoft will do their best to contribute to Euro-2012.

EURO 2012 talismans that have been designed by Warner Bros. have finally got their names: Slavek and Slavko. As known, UEFA official web site organized a poll offering visitors three options:
* Slavek and Slavko  – 56%
* Syemko and Strymko – 29%
* Klemek and Ladko – 15%

EURO 2012 Unofficial Animal: Selecting Unofficial Talisman for Poland and Ukraine

Ukraine’s authorities have announced a competition on selecting an official animal for EURO 2012.
As known, on November 4^th, Ukraine’s Borys Kolesnikov (Minister in charge of EURO 2012 preparation) invited journalists to come up with ideas on official animal for EURO 2012, while presenting a new promo video on Ukraine. Everyone is invited to participate within a 60 day term, after which the official animal will be selected.

As known, official talisman of EURO 2012 is still unknown, and MR. Kolesnikov was talking about unofficial animal. There is only one condition for participants: the animal should actually live in Ukraine. Winners will get interesting presents.
As to successor of the late world famous octopus Paul, it was officially presented as a football expert and forecaster. Paul II is expected to make forecasts in Ukraine and Poland in 2012, as well as in Brazil in 2014.
