UEFA president again will visit Ukraine with inspection. Construction sites of airports and Ukrainian stadiums of host-cities are waiting for inspection on 7-8 of April. Program includes visits to four host-cities - Donetsk, Kharkiv, Lviv and Kyiv.
The delegation, headed by Michel Platini, also includes UEFA Vice President Marios Lefkaritis and senior UEFA administration members. They are coming to control the infrastructure preparation according to European standards of quality and safety.
Vice Prime Minister Borys Kolesnikov, Football Federation of Ukraine (FFU) president Grygoriy Surkis, Tournament director “EURO 2012 Ukraine” Markiyan Lubkivskyi will host, report and convince in real progress of Ukraine on preparation for EURO 2012.
Football officials from Nyon will visit all four arenas that stage the Championship matches in Ukraine. April 8, President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych personally meets with the UEFA president Michel Platini to prove that our country can in time and properly prepare for EURO 2012. During the visit will be the presentation of all tournament host-cities.
Tomorrow, April 7, Ukraine would welcome Michel Platini in Lviv. Previously accredited photographers and operators will be able to fix the moment when a famous Frenchman landed on Ukrainian land, at 10:30 am. Already at 12:45 pm UEFA president will make an official statement to the press after review construction sites of Stryyska-ring road the airport. Then Europeans will flight to the capital of Donbas.
The program includes visits to the airport in Donetsk and “Donbas Arena”, where after a brief city presentation will be held a press conference. Everybody is able to see conference. At 5:40 pm the official site “Donbas Arena” starts online broadcast of the UEFA president speech.
8 April UEFA delegation will work in Kharkiv, where review the airport and the stadium “Metalist”, and brief press conference will be held after the host-city presentation (tentatively at 11:40am).
On the same day football officials will come to capital. Attention will be riveted to the Boryspil airport and stadium “Olympiyskyy”. After Michel Platini and Viktor Yanukovych meeting, UEFA president makes a press statement.
