International investors are interested in Ukraine! Are YOU?

Ukraine is taken on world financial markets as a solvent and stable state, this is evidenced by increasing its ranking by leading international organizations - said Deputy Minister of Finance Andriy Kravets. These changes gain special significance in the context of Ukraine's preparations for EURO 2012 because the strong position of our country in the world financial market will help to raise investments in preparing championship facilities.
«Standard & Poor's upgraded Ukraine's sovereign rating, remove it from the category of "dangerous situation" and move to "sufficient capacity to meet financial obligations", - told Andriy Kravets. In addition, Mr. Kravets said that rate raising at the national scale presents on Ukraine's ability to timely and fully perform its obligations concerning the Ukrainian emitters. As said Deputy Minister that Standard & Poor's changed its outlook for Ukraine to positive and agency Fitch changed its forecast of defaults of emitters from negative to stable.
"This is basis in order to allow other agencies also upgrade ratings of our state. So far Ukraine more affably will take on global financial markets", - emphasized Andriy Kravets.
Andriy Kravets noticed that today there are all reasons to resume cooperation with international financial organizations, in particular with the International Monetary Fund. Recall that last year the allocation of the fourth tranche of the IMF loan program for stand-by has been suspended because of unstable economic and financial situation in the country. Currently, Ukraine has already received USD 10.9 billion of promised 16.4 billion loan. Part of these funds was directed to prepare state for EURO 2012, particularly for development of hotel infrastructure.

odessa-road.jpgPrime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko is satisfied with the rate of construction of major transit corridors in Ukraine. She stated this today at the ceremonial opening of the section of the international highway M-06 Kyiv-Chop in the village of Zhadkivka in the Koretsky raion of the Rivne oblast.

The section, which now is now open to traffic, is the third section serving as an example of how the road will look once completed. “And it will be completed by Euro-2012 once we link it to Kyiv,” said Yulia Tymoshenko.

Just really trivial question ;)

What do you think about Ukraine?

No entry visa for Ukrainians!

Executive Director of European soccer championship in 2012, Ivan Fedorenko said that tickets for Euro 2012 matches will be for the citizens of Ukraine, an entry visa to Poland. "If a citizen of Ukraine will be accredited to the Euro-2012 or buy a ticket for the match, he would be able to come to Poland to see him," said Fedorenko. Also Ivan Fedorenko told that the committee intends to produce 12,000 volunteers to work in the tournament. Selling tickets to a football match during the Euro-2012 will occur on identity documents with the obligatory indication on the ticket name, name and the number of offence.

I have found more related and updated map for Euro 2012 :) Enjoy!

The FIRST TIP!

New day brings new changes and activities! For some this day starts like 365 days in the year start, for others it opens something new and challenging. For Ukraine it is always a challange, because we are developing or we think we are :)

For those of you, who have already decided to visit Ukraine, I'd like to give some hints.

The first one:
Our transportation system is also in so-called developing stage and it is so different from the one some of you used to have in Europe, USA or other contries. You need to know exactly which bus you need to take to get to your destination. How do you find it? I will provide all the bus numbers and their destinations very soon. Usually, drivers are so busy, because they are working as a cashier, secretary and finally a driver, that they will not be able to answer your question. Sometimes it is even too hard to scream to stop the bus, because the driver is not able to hear you. That is why you need to be ready, it is better to ask some people in the bus than try to ask a ridiculously buzy driver. Later, I will provide you, my friends, the map of the cities, that are going to host Euro 2012, you won't be lost following my tips and asking me questions.

Enjoy this day, whenever and whatever it is, and thinking about Ukraine =)

Yours,
Inna

The Map of EURO 2012!

Football is an incredible game. Sometimes it's so incredible, it's unbelievable. Tom Landry

Dear visitors,

"It's a historic occasion," Mr Platini added. "It's the first time Ukraine and Poland will organise such a large international competition in the biggest sport in the world, so we decided on the slogan 'Creating history together'. I am too modest to say that Poland and Ukraine will write the history of their respective countries in world politics. But at least they will write history in the world of football. We are certain to have a great EURO in Poland and Ukraine."

UEFA president is sure about the choice of Ukraine! This is a start point to prepare your suitcases and luggages, and come to Ukraine :)  Despite the fact that within the country the situation can be called as "awaiting" for changes, the whole country is hoping to have a stable economic situation.
