Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko is satisfied with the rate of construction of major transit corridors in Ukraine. She stated this today at the ceremonial opening of the section of the international highway M-06 Kyiv-Chop in the village of Zhadkivka in the Koretsky raion of the Rivne oblast.
The section, which now is now open to traffic, is the third section serving as an example of how the road will look once completed. “And it will be completed by Euro-2012 once we link it to Kyiv,” said Yulia Tymoshenko.
According to her, high-quality roads will allow for as much cargo transport as the country can handle.
Tymoshenko thanked the builders, designers and general contractor company Onur. "I think that the road Kyiv-Chop will be the pride of Ukraine thanks to your labor and the quality of your work," she said.
At the conclusion of the ceremony Yulia Tymoshenko presented the representatives of the road construction industry with honors from the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
